- Add 2 thinly sliced onions into the hot oil and keep frying it until golden brown. Do not rush. Wait patiently. Do not burn. Keep stirring constantly. Only when the onions caramelize they will not be visible in the gravy.
- Once done add thoroughly washed chicken into the pan, give it a good mix, close the lid and cook for about 3 minutes in medium flame. Do not add any water to the chicken. Let the chicken cook in its own juice.
